What answers your call, how it announces itself, which AI systems are involved, what ParrotB will not do with your voice, and how to reach a human.
When you call a business that uses ParrotB, the Reception module may answer instead of a person. It is an AI voice agent. It can take a message, book or move an appointment, answer questions the business has set up in advance, and pass you to a human.
ParrotB provides that AI system. The business you called is the one using it, and it decides what the agent says about its own services, prices and hours.
The agent says it is an AI in its opening words, on every call, in every language it supports. It also says the call is being recorded, before recording starts. In Italy the recording notice is the very first sentence, as D.Lgs. 259/2003 requires.
A business can write its own greeting, but it cannot remove either announcement and it cannot turn recording off. Both are composed by the platform and added to whatever greeting the business chose.
If you would rather not speak to an AI, say so. The agent will transfer you or take a message for a callback.
The voice pipeline itself runs in the EU, on Google Cloud Run in Belgium. Recordings are stored with Backblaze B2. The full sub-processor list, with the transfer safeguard for each one, is in the Privacy Policy.
Call handling accuracy depends on audio quality, accent, and request complexity.
ParrotB cannot provide emergency assistance. Callers with emergencies are redirected to 112 (EU) or local emergency services.
24/7 availability is subject to system uptime. See our status page for current availability.
The agent does not give medical, legal or financial advice, and it will not judge how serious a situation is. For anything of that kind it takes a message for the business.
You can ask for a human at any point in the call. Where the business has enabled transfers, the agent puts you through. Otherwise it takes a message and the business calls you back.
If you think something the AI did has affected you, contact the business directly, or email hello@parrotb.com and a person will look at it.
Your rights over the data from the call - access, correction, deletion - are set out in the Privacy Policy.
